Tender chicken breasts and pounded flat and thin are layered with smoky ham and Swiss cheese in this simple classic. It is then coated with flour, egg, and breadcrumbs. This delicacy is then baked till soft and juicy in the oven.

Step 1
Take 2 chicken breasts and cover them up with cellophane paper and then tap it nicely/strongly to flatten them.
Step 2
Add 3 tablespoons of mustard to the chicken breast and spread it all over and season it with some salt and pepper as well.
Step 3
After that add 2 slices of ham over it and add 3slices of cheese on each of the flattened chicken pieces and then roll the chicken breast and seal it tightly with a toothpick.
Step 4
Take a bowl and add flour, smoked paprika in it and mix it well and sprinkle it on top of the rolled chicken using a sieve.
Step 5
Take 1 cup of breadcrumbs on the plate and add ½ teaspoon of Provence herbs in it and add ¼ teaspoon of garlic salt and add melted butter in it and mix it nicely.
Step 6
Take 1 egg in another bowl and dip the rolled chicken in the egg and then flip it around so that all sides are nicely coated with the egg and then oll it in breadcrumbs and flip it around.
Step 7
On the other side take a pan and add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to it and place both the rolled chicken in it and let it cook for 5-6 minutes slowly and then flip it around so that both the sides are cooked well.
Step 8
Take out the rolled chicken from the pan and place it in a baking tray and then gradually bake it in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit/ 180 degrees Celcius.
Step 9
Tasty, cheesy, creamy chicken cordon bleu is ready to serve and eat and garnish with some parsley on top of it.
