Gyeran-ppang is a warm street snack sold throughout South Korea. The fluffy, oblong-shaped loaf of bread is sweet and savoury with a whole egg inside the pancake dough

Step 1
In a bowl take 1 tablespoon of butter at room temperature. Add 3 tablespoons of sugar to it. Add 1 teaspoon of baking powder and a little vanilla extract to it.mix well
Step 2
Add 1 egg and a cup of all-purpose flour. Add the same quantity of milk as flour. Give all the ingredients a good whisk.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 400 F for 10 minutes. Green small rectangular mould. You can also use paper moulds available on the market.
Step 4
Grease the moulds with oil. Whisk the batter once and pour in half the mould with the batter.
Step 5
Break an egg and pour it at the centre of each mould. Now, bake it in the preheated oven. May take 13-15 minutes.
Step 6
Demould it. Korean egg bread is ready to serve. Either cut from the centre and serve or serve it whole. Can be had as a breakfast or snack.
1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
1 Tbsp butter
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Tbsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup Oil
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 Egg for topping
5 cheese sticks or cubes.
