Step 1
In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.

Once the water starts boiling, add the black tea leaves or tea bags and the saffron strands.

Lower the heat and let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes, allowing the tea to brew and the saffron to infuse its flavor and color.

Add sugar and green cardamom powder to the tea. Stir well to ensure the sugar dissolves completely.

If you prefer your tea with milk, add the milk and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes.

For an added fragrant touch, you can add rose water.
